Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a resident of Haryana
- Must be a farmer or agricultural labourer
- Age should be between 10 to 65 years
- Accident must occur during agricultural activities
- Applicant should not be a beneficiary of any other similar scheme
- In case of death, nominee/legal heir must apply
Covered Situations
The scheme provides benefits in the following situations:
- Use of agricultural machinery or equipment
- While digging wells or installing tube wells
- During use of threshers or cutters
- Exposure to poisonous gases while operating wells/tube wells
- Electric shock during farming work
- Snake bite or attack by poisonous animals during field work
- Accidents in mandis (markets) or procurement centers
- Transportation of agricultural produce
- While loading/unloading crops
- Use of pesticides or chemicals in farming
