The Government of Haryana has launched a special scheme for women named Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana. Under this scheme, needy families can get an LPG gas cylinder at just ₹500. Each eligible family can avail up to 12 cylinders per year.
The scheme was officially launched on 12th August 2024 by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on the occasion of Hariyali Teej. The Haryana Government has decided to continue this scheme in the 2025 state budget as well.

What is Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana?
The Haryana Government started this scheme to provide LPG cylinders at subsidized rates to poor families of the state. Families holding BPL cards and Antyodaya (AAY) cards can get LPG cylinders at ₹500 only, with a limit of 12 cylinders per year.
The extra amount over ₹500 will be reimbursed directly into the woman’s bank account of the family through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
This scheme aims to improve the living standards of poor families who are still cooking on coal or wood and also helps reduce air pollution.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
Applicant must have a valid Family ID (PPP ID / Parivar Pehchan Patra).
Annual family income should not exceed ₹1.80 lakh.
Only BPL and Antyodaya families (AAY Card / Pink Ration Card holders) are eligible.
The gas connection should be in the name of a family member.

How to Apply Online?
Follow these easy steps to apply online for Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana:
Step 1
Visit the official website: https://epds.haryanafood.gov.in/
Click on Har Ghar-Har Grihini Scheme → Registration Form.
Enter your PPP ID and Captcha, then verify with OTP received on your registered mobile number.
Step 2
Select the family member’s name who holds the gas connection.
Step 3
Fill gas connection details: Gas company name (Indian/Bharat/HP), Agency name, Consumer name & number, LPG ID.
Step 4
Provide bank account details if not already linked with Family ID.
Step 5
Tick Consent & Declaration, read Terms & Conditions, and Submit.
Save/Print the Acknowledgment PDF for future reference.
How to Check Application Status?
Visit official website → Har Ghar-Har Grihini Scheme → Registration Status.
Enter Family ID and OTP.
Enter your Application ID (from Acknowledgment Form).
Click on See Status – your application details will appear.
What if Subsidy Money is Not Received?
If the subsidy amount does not reflect in your bank account:
Go to the official website → Registration Status → Login with Family ID.
Select Add LPG Purchase and enter purchase date & remarks.
Raise a Grievance by selecting “LPG Subsidy Not Received”.
Enter Family ID, beneficiary woman’s name, and OTP.
Upload the following documents:
Copy of gas passbook’s first page.
Marked date of purchase on gas receipt.
LPG Purchase Acknowledgment Slip PDF.
